Country doing great but media is all negative

What is wrong with most of the media? Why is there such a preoccupation with the negative all the time? For example, recently, along with all the hype on storm Florence's being the mother of all hurricanes, the headline on the front page Sept. 16 was about the Flu Epidemic of 1918. Nobody likes to keep reading about dreadful stuff all the time. The tendency is to kill the messenger who keeps delivering such terrible messages.

How come we never see headlines reporting the good news that even Bloomberg, a liberal business news outlet that uses government and professional sources for its information, reports?

According to the recent broadcasts during Sept 9-17, unemployment numbers are down and job creation is up. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is at 4.2 percent. Mining, construction and manufacturing growth is between 3.3 and 3.9 percent. Bloomberg reported there were 6.9 million job openings. Consumer confidence is also up.

President Trump is doing what he said he would do if elected president. He did cut taxes and eliminate many regulations. Let Trump do his job. After all, "elections have consequences." The media needs to move on and report all the news instead of just the bad and the ugly.
