Stonington — A public forum will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Stonington Free Library to discuss proposed improvements to the Town Dock playground site next spring.

Stonington Human Services staff will be on hand to answer questions from residents and provide pictures and specifications for play sets, which include options for children aged 2-5 and 5-12.

In September, the town closed the 16-year-old playscape at the playground because some of its wooden support footings were rotting.
