Make a Difference: The Arc New London County
WHO: Stella, who has an intellectual disability, and Ginny, her friend and caregiver. Ginny is in her late 70s, a bit younger than Stella.

HER SITUATION: Stella just returned home from the hospital, where she was treated for pneumonia. Ginny would like the house to be warmer, but the women live on a fixed income and find it hard to pay for both heat and food.
WHAT TO GIVE: Prepaid gift cards toward heating expenses and food, warm nightgowns size small and medium/large, a new set of towels, and a small, newer TV — their current TV is 30 years old.
