Blending the bewitching and disparate sounds of old and new, the Hygienic presents five intoxicating area acts Saturday for the annual Rock Haus concert — and this year's lineup is a classic.

Dogbite (7 p.m.), Burnouts From Outer Space (9 p.m.) and The Hempsteadys (11:30 p.m.) represent a more recent generation of New London bands, while The Cartoons (8 p.m.) and The New Johnny 5 (10 p.m.) are two of the most iconic groups in the region's music history.

It's going to be good all night, but pay special attention to the Burnouts' set. After months — even years — of rumors and anticipation, they're readying a spring release of a new album with 10 never-released tracks ranging from balladry and driving rockers to more ethereal cloud-surf extravaganzas.
