    Stonington resident levels up in karate

    After achieving rank of brown belt in Shorin Ryu style karate, Oliver Kasprzak of Stonington, 9, achieved the rank of white belt in Yamashita style karate at the Yamashita Mystic Dojo in Mystic on Jan. 14.
