Scooting around in Waterford

Waterford — Max Hart, 3, of New London rides his scooter Wednesday around the oval with his mother, Liuba Hart, and brother, Alex, 11 months, carried by Liuba Hart, as the family spends a little time at Harkness Memorial State Park.

Liuba Hart said Max asked to come to the park to ride his scooter because it's one of their favorite spots. Max decided to call it quits after one lap around the oval because of the strong wind.
