Still America's team, Cowboys are the greatest

I have gotten into some debates at work and felt compelled to take a moment and reflect on the greatness of the Dallas Cowboys. Sure, there are teams that have won more Super Bowls with six each − the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Let's face it though, these teams are in the AFC and have an easier path to the Super Bowl than those in the NFC.

Who else is in the AFC? Exactly. The Cowboys, on the other hand, have the most Super Bowl wins in the NFC with five (tied with the 49ers) and have a tougher road in the NFC against the Giants, the Saints, the 49ers, the Seahawks, and so on!

The Cowboys have had many great players including Emmitt Smith (NFL all-time leading rusher), Tony Dorsett, Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, and Tony Romo. And today's players exude class. Heck, Dak Prescott loves his grandmother!

I understand how my co-workers can love their teams. Some are more local, some have nicer color schemes. I just want to remind the region, including my daughter who I sent out in a Cowboys sweatshirt, of the greatness of the Dallas Cowboys (America's Team), and remind my fellow Cowboys fans to keep holding their heads high.
