    EMPLOYMENT

    Regan Nichols of Westerly has been named Customer Solutions Manager of Chelsea Groton Bank’s Groton branch, and Rebecca Magner, also of Westerly, has been named Customer Solutions Manager of the bank’s Pawcatuck branch. Nichols joined Chelsea Groton in 2005. Previously, she was Customer Solutions Manager in the Pawcatuck branch, and was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President. Magner joined Chelsea Groton in 2016, as the Assistant Branch Manager at the Pawcatuck branch.     Five area arts and culture organizations will share $4,500 in grants awarded recently by the Jewett City Savings Bank Foundation. The recipients are the Voluntown Historical Society, $1,000; te Eastern Connecticut Performing Arts Association in Griswold, $1,000; Opera New England of Northeastern Connecticut, $1,000; the Preston Historical Society, $1,000; and the Finnish American Heritage Society, $500.
