MGM's flight north: How dare they?

In reading The Day I see so much anti-Mohegan and anti-Mashantucket vs. pro-MGM every day. How soon MGM and people in the Northeast quickly forget that MGM had a casino here in Connecticut in partnership with of all outfits, the Mashantucket Pequots! They built a hotel and casino and apparently they saw how much they were making and having to share with the Mashantuckets. They collapsed their tent and several years later showed up in Springfield, Mass.

Now they are anti-Mohegan and Mashantucket. I had to drive up Interstate 91 twice in order to see where MGM Springfield even had been built. When I did find them, they are in the gut of Springfield, some of the worst part of town. How dare they?
