Catherine Monk and Alexander Melesko were united in marriage Sept.22, 2018, in Chestertown, Md. The evening ceremony took place at Brittland Manor on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Catherine is the daughter of Peter and Ellen Monk of Landenberg, Pa. Alex is the son of Vincent and Marlene Melesko of East Lyme.

The maid of honor was Caroline Monk, sister of the bride. The best man was Nicholas Melesko, brother of the groom. The bridal party included Kerry Miles, Matthew Graziose, Colleen McGregor, Madelynne Jensen, and Olivia Ward, friends of the bride. The groomsmen were McKillop Erlandson, Timothy Conboy, Daniel Lin, and Thomas Bruno, friends of the groom.

Catherine was given in marriage by her father, Peter; and Alex by his parents, Marlene and Vinny. The officiant was Rev. Katie Rouse.

Catherine and Alex received their masters in business and computational finance from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, where they met. Catherine is a trader for Morgan Stanley and Alex is a data analyst for Bridgewater Associates.

The couple honeymooned in the Florida Keys and reside in Manhattan.
