    Make a Difference: WARM Center

    WHO: A single mother and her two teenaged children

    AGENCY: WARM Center

    THEIR SITUATION: The 40-year-old mother is an assistant store manager and has worked at the same place for more than a decade, but after the breakup of a long-term relationship, she and her children were homeless. They lived in a camper and motels until entering the Harvest Homes Program at the WARM Center. The family recently moved into their own apartment through WARM's Rapid Rehousing Program.

    WHAT TO GIVE:

    [naviga:li]14-year-old girl: size-4 pants, medium shirts, blue hoodie, size-9 boots, Game Stop gift card, movie theater gift card, makeup, nail polish[/naviga:li]

    [naviga:li]18-year-old boy: large pants, large shirts, gray sweatpants/athletic pants, black or gray hoodie, black socks, size-12 Under Armour work boots[/naviga:li]

    [naviga:li]For the household: bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, twin- and full-size sheet sets, allergen-free laundry detergent, dish soap, gift cards to Stop & Shop, ALDI, J.C. Penney and Walmart[/naviga:li]

    TO DONATE: Deliver items to the WARM Center on 56 Spruce St. in Westerly, in care of Harvest Homes Program/Kate Serra.
