Westerly-Pawcatuck Memorial Day parade seeks participants
Stonington -- Organizers of the Westerly-Pawcatuck Memorial Day Parade are seeking participants for the Monday, May 25, parade, which begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Pawcatuck Shopping Center and ends in Wilcox Park in Westerly.
The parade is one of the oldest Memorial Day celebrations in the country, beginning shortly after the Civil War.
