East Lyme — Students practiced a dance they learned from a professional Broadway dancer earlier in the week while participating in a class Friday in the parking lot of Eastern Connecticut Ballet. Since March the students have been fully training five to six days a week online at home. Friday was the first time they all came together for a class while social distancing.

This week was the first of a four-week program where Monday through Thursday they have classes online with professional dancers from Broadway, NYC Ballet, Limo modern dance company and others.  During the program they will continue their Fun Fridays with a class at Eastern Connecticut Ballet and have a picnic together.
