Rogers' record makes him ready for registrar job

Jeff Rogers is my choice for Registrar of Voters in the Tuesday primary.

Jeff has served the Montville Republican Town Committee as recording secretary since 2016. In that time, we have watched him be very thorough and detailed in his duties. In 2017 he was elected to the Montville Town Council. As a councilor he was liaison to the Economic Development Commission, Park & Recreation Commission, Public Safety Commission, and Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA). While serving on the WPCA as chairman, he initiated the audit that uncovered several thousands of dollars of inappropriate expenses.

Jeff was instrumental in getting the Montville Town Hall decorated with Christmas lights and donating the Christmas tree that sits in front of our Town Hall. Jeff was partially responsible for assisting the town in obtaining the Mostowy property adjacent Camp Oakdale for future expansion. Jeff is also an elected member to Republican State Central, representing the 20th District. His loyalty to the party includes volunteering with Mark Boughton’s gubernatorial campaign in 2018 and working for Sue Hatfield’s attorney general campaign that year.

Without a doubt, Jeff Rogers is the best candidate for the position of Montville’s Republican Registrar.
