Conn College student charged with voyeurism
New London — Police have arrested a Connecticut College student in connection with an alleged case of voyeurism in a dormitory bathroom.
Nicholas Spellman, 19, of Wilbraham, Mass., was charged Saturday with voyeurism and disorderly conduct. Police said they seized electronic devices as part of their investigation but provided no other details.
Spellman was released on bond and was scheduled to appear Nov. 20 in New London Superior Court.
Given the nature of the incident, police said they encourage anyone who has information concerning these types of incidents or has reason to believe they may be a victim of this type of crime to contact New London police detectives at (860) 447-1481.
