Cold spell in store for southeastern Connecticut

Some visitors braved the cold to walk the beach Tuesday at Rocky Neck State Park.

Wednesday is expected to be relatively mild, with highs around 40, but could see more snow showers. The outlook after that includes very chilly weather: The highs in the region will hover in the low 30s and even into the low 20s later in the week.
