Point One Architects opens Madison office

Old Lyme-based Point One Architects has opened a second office in Madison at 17 Wall St.

“Residential real estate sales activity in our area is unprecedented,” said Kathy Mitchell, Brokerage Manager for William Pitt-Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty’s Guilford and Madison offices, in a release. “Buyer demand has been off the charts. People are leaving the cities and relocating to the suburbs.”

“We want to be a resource for the homeowner and the community,” says Rick Staub, partner with Point One Architects. “Building and renovating on the coast has become increasingly challenging due to increasing FEMA, state and local regulations. It’s important to know ahead of time what you can and cannot do.”

For more than 20 years, the company has been designing and renovating homes along the Connecticut shoreline.
