Southeast Senior Network celebrates anniversary

Dozens of members of the Southeast Senior Network celebrated June 9 at the Garde Arts Center in New London five years of working toward the goal of improving senior services in the region through regular networking and educational meetings.

This was a “coming out” of sorts, as it was the first in-person meeting in over a year because of the pandemic.

Southeast Senior Network was formed as an educational and networking forum for to bring together eldercare professionals in southeastern Connecticut, including executive directors of assisted care facilities, social workers at skilled nursing facilities, eldercare attorneys, Hospice nurses, and home care companies.

The organization, currently with about 125 members, meets the second Wednesday of the month.
