Call it two rock-icon ships passing in the night.

In 2019, Blondie and Elvis Costello & The Imposters joined forces to tour together (I remember seeing them at Mohegan Sun).

Now, in a bit of synchronicity, each group is out on the road separately but is playing Foxwoods on the same weekend.

Costello is scheduled for Saturday, and Blondie is on the books for Friday.

See another page in this section for info on the Costello show, but we’ll tell you here that Blondie doesn’t stint on the greatest hits in concert, including everything from “The Tide Is High” to “One Way or Another” to “Call Me.”

Blondie has called this the “Against the Odds” tour, with “special guest” The Damned, which publicity calls “the greatest surviving British punk band.”
