The Eastern Connecticut Association of Realtors held its annual awards banquet at Great Neck Country Club in Waterford on Wednesday. Greg Hanner of Garden Realty in Waterford, who as immediate past president of ECAR helped members navigate the CARES Act and organized food drives, was named Realtor of the Year. Current ECAR President Bonnie Nault, of William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty in Old Lyme, is ECAR's nominee for the Connecticut REALTORS State Realtor of the Year Award. Chelsea Laukaitis of Navy Federal Credit Union was named Affiliate of the Year, Heather Ash-Spadola of RE/MAX Home Team of Killingly was named Rookie of the Year, and Molly Bruno of eXp Realty in Norwich was named Young Professional of the Year, an award she also won in 2018.
