Man pleads guilty in Groton shooting
A Groton man on Wednesday accepted a 4 1/2 year prison sentence as part of a plea agreement to settle three pending criminal cases that include a 2021 shooting in Groton.
Kendall Fluker, 45, pleaded guilty to criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault and criminal possession of a firearm in connection with a shooting outside a Benham Road residence that occurred on March 18, 2021 in the City of Groton. No injuries were reported.
Fluker additionally pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree threatening in two unrelated cases, one involving a domestic dispute and another during a motor vehicle accident.
Fluker, at a later date, will be sentenced to 54 months in prison followed by five years of probation.
