Magazine tip: Sports Illustrated, Sept. 9 issue
Sports Illustrated, Sept. 9 issue
I generally enjoy this magazine anyway and appreciate how they've blended the old-school "literary" features — expansive thought pieces and profiles — with a youthful attitude towards trends and the evolution of sport and trends. But this issue is particularly fine because of a Connor Orr story about the bombshell retirement of Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck. What an incredible human Luck is — and what incredible perspective and potential he has. Kudos to Orr for an excellent piece of work.
