Back in the day, there were a lot of bowling options in the region. Today, few alleys remain, so thank goodness for Groton Bowling Center.

It’s even better that the venue is such a well-run and thoroughly enjoyable place.

I’ve gone with friends on weekend afternoons, and it’s been fun to watch families bowling some frames together — and it’s been impressive to see how good some of the kids are.

But any level of bowler can have a good time here.
