In a typical year, the very funny comic Kathleen Madigan might do as many as 250 dates. This leaves her very little time to update her website — which says her most recent special is “Bothering Jesus,” which I watched when it came out eight years ago.

This is not to be critical of Madigan’s website tidiness! I myself have a website — I forget why — but mine is so inactive and ignored that when I recently clicked on it, there were cobwebs growing on it IN CYBERSPACE! I had to hire an IT exterminator to get rid of them!

At least Madigan has a product and an excuse: she’s busy being funny.

Madigan returns Friday to the Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods on The Potluck Party 2024 tour, which follows 2023’s Boxed Wine & Tiny Banjos tour — and she probably doesn’t even remember “Bothering Jesus.”
