An Interfaith Retreat

Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, 4:00 pm
An Interfaith Retreat;

Religion

Mercy by the Sea, 167 Neck Road, Madison, , 06443

During this week-long silent retreat participants practice seated meditation together — about 12 25-minute periods per day — as a supportive community. Following the final sitting each evening, the liturgy will be offered for all who wish to participate. This is a warm, wholehearted practice of being with ourselves as we are, with things as they occur. The support of devoted teachers and one another encourages the quieting of our minds, the lessening of struggle, and the movement from self-centeredness to life-centeredness. The on-site retreat accommodations are filled. However, there is still space for commuters with a fee of $75 per day. If interested, please call Rosemary Jones at 203.245.0401, ext. 114 to register. www.mercybythesea.org for more information.
