The Waterford Public Library presents virtual discussion with Jeff Benedict Wednesday

Author Jeff Benedict makes a (virtual) hometown appearance at 7 p.m. Wednesday from the Waterford Public Library.

Benedict will discuss his latest book, the New York Times bestselling "The Dynasty," an account the New England Patriots' amazing run of success under the leadership of head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady, and owner Robert Kraft.

"Dynasty" has received incredible reviews from those inside and out of professional football, and the book's unique perspective and tireless research — over 200 interviews including several with Kraft, Brady and Belichick — have resonated with readers far beyond New England. In addition, Benedict has written 16 notable nonfiction works including "Little Pink House," "Without Reservation," and New York Times #1 bestselling biography "Tiger Woods" (with Armen Keteyian).

The Waterford Library appearance is a free Zoom event, but pre-registration is required at https://waterfordct.org/libary or www.banksquareboooks.com. After registering, people will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

It's also possible to order signed copies of "Dynasty" and "Tiger Woods" when registering. Benedict will autograph the books on Sunday, and they can be picked up thereafter at Bank Square Books, 53 West Main St., Mystic. For more information, call (860) 536-3795.

Comment threads are monitored for 48 hours after publication and then closed.
