“Dancing with the Stars” tends to rise and fall based on the personalities and talents of stars competing in a given season.

This most recent run was lucky to have former NBA star Iman Shumpert.

He is a warm, charming presence, but he also made amazing strides in his dancing abilities, working his way to dazzling performances.

So it’s good news that Shumpert will join the “Dancing with the Stars” tour when it stops at Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday and Saturday.

The nights will also feature pro dancers like Artem Chigvintsev, Daniella Karagach, and Gleb Savchenko, along with competitors Amanda Kloots and Jimmie Allen from this most recent season and Kaitlyn Bristowe from a previous one.
