The Bill Memorial Library in the City of Groton invites children entering grades K-5 to a drawing workshop series with Jason Deeble on Wednesday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 17 at 1:00 p.m. Bring characters and stories to life in these hands-on cartooning workshops and expand your drawing skills and stretch your imagination. Jason Deeble is the author of the children’s book Sir Ryan’s Quest. This program is part of the library’s Universe of Stories Summer Reading Program and is sponsored by the Connecticut Humanities Council’s Book Voyagers.

Library hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.; Wednesday and Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.; and Saturday, 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
The Bill Memorial Library is located at 240 Monument Street in Groton City, near the Groton Monument and Fort Griswold.
