The school vacation right after Christmas can feel looooooong.

But here’s something to provide a bit of distraction for the kids: Holiday Magic at Mystic Seaport Museum.

From Thursday through Sunday, the venue will offer special tours and programming, along with games and crafts. Kids can design their own puppets and use them in the venue’s Puppet Theatre. They can listen to holiday story time in the Children’s Museum.

Justin Mazz Magic will meld comedy and mystery in a family-friendly show presented at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
