HOW TO: SUBMIT AN EVENT
Three local artists join forces on Friday March 24 to present “Circle the Squares,” a 3-day art and sound show at a popup gallery in a private home in New London, Connecticut.
The event is an exploration in shape, light, sound, and magnetism featuring work by artists George Grabel and Justin Credabel, both of New London, and J Curland of Ledyard.
The weekend-long showcase includes visual art—paintings by Grabel, “trash art” (made of recyclables and found objects) by Curland, and “Dragon Wood” by Credabel. Dragon Wood is the result of a 2-year process Credabel invented for curing and pigmenting locally sourced wood, which he uses to produce furniture, boxes, and decorative objects.
Work by all three will be on display and available for purchase.
The event is free and open to the public and refreshments will be available. This is a rain or shine event.
