Mohegan Sun marks Lunar New Year
Mohegan Sun is all about celebrating Lunar New Year on Sunday with an array of festivities.
To mark the Year of the Rabbit (and Year of the Cat), here’s the schedule:
11 a.m.: The Fortune God will hand out red envelopes, which signify good luck and fortune, while supplies last. That will happen at The Shops Concourse.
Noon: The Lion Dance, which representing banishing evil spirits and attracting luck and fortune, travels from Summer Valet through Casino of the Sky.
4 p.m.: Singer and songwriter JJ Lin performs in the Mohegan Sun Arena; the show is sold out.
Phantasia at Sunrise Square will offer related food specials through Friday.
