The Mystic Film Festival showcases a variety of independent films featuring talent from all across the region. We invite you to come watch the narrative shorts and attend pre and post Q&As, panel discussions, workshops, networking parties, and more throughout the weekend across the four participating theaters.
Opening night will kickoff with an exciting reception for filmmakers, cast, media, festival partners, sponsors, distributors, and ticket holders.
The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing top finalists in several categories.

Description – Back by popular demand! Join us aboard the Essex Steam Train on September 20 & 21 for a one-of-a-kind, interactive experience as we welcome the Sanderson Sisters back to Essex Station!
Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson (Summer Orlando, Miranda Mugovero, and Barbra Joan Streetsand) will entertain you with tales of witches and lore direct from Salem, while bewitching you with a performance you won’t forget, kicking off the Halloween
season!
Join the magical coven before the train ride for a meet-and-greet, colorful photo opportunities, and maybe even some special witches
brew on the patio.
Featuring Summer Orlando: New England’s #1 live singing Winifred Sanderson impersonator, as seen in Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2. In town for two days only!
We encourage you to dress as your favorite character from the movie or dress to impress in your Halloween best when you come along for the ride!
