      The Mystic Film Festival showcases a variety of independent films featuring talent from all across the region. We invite you to come watch the narrative shorts and attend pre and post Q&As, panel discussions, workshops, networking parties, and more throughout the weekend across the four participating theaters.
      Opening night will kickoff with an exciting reception for filmmakers, cast, media, festival partners, sponsors, distributors, and ticket holders.
      The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony recognizing top finalists in several categories.

      The Connecticut River Museum will be hosting a Block Party on Saturday, September 21st – which will be our final commemoration event to honor the 50th Anniversary! The event will be supported by Guilford Savings Bank in partnership with the Community Foundation of Middlesex County. The Block Party will take place on the Museum campus and feature a full day of events geared to all ages. Attendees can look forward to food and beverage vendors along with live music! Children will have the opportunity to make their own time capsule and take part in other educational activities centered around history and nature.

      Autumn arrives this year on September 22. What better way to celebrate than at the annual Harvest Festival at Christ the King Church, which takes place on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. Doors open at 8:30am on September 21, and the fair will run Saturday until 3pm. Sunday’s hours are 9am to Noon.
