Architect Richard Gipstein and historian Barbara Nagy will examine the life and work of Dudley St. Clair Donnelly, a prolific but little-known southeastern Connecticut architect, during a program sponsored by Bill Memorial Library on Saturday, January 28, at 1 PM.
Nagy will begin the presentation with an overview of Donnelly’s life, his local connections and the current status of his buildings. Gipstein then will share images of Donnelly’s work and discuss his approach to design and his significance.
The program is free and open to the public. To register or for more information, call the library at 860-445-0392.
