Join the Lyman Allyn Art Museum at the Mystic Noank Library for a lecture on the new exhibition, The Circle Game, on display at the museum this winter. Pamela Zagarenski, the artist, and Jane LeGrow, Registrar and Director of Exhibitions at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum, will discuss the artwork on view in the exhibit. With paintings that draw on sacred geometry and healing traditions from around the world, The Circle Game invites visitors young and old to enter into paintings brimming with animals, mystical figures and faraway places. Evoking the wonder of both the extraordinary and the mundane, this exhibition celebrates the dualities of life—light and dark, love and hate, good and bad—in a spirit of magical exploration.
Visitors are also invited to see some of Pamela Zagarenski’s artwork on permanent display in the Mystic Noank Library children’s room.
