    H.S. lacrosse: East Lyme girls rally to beat Conard 12-10

    West Hartford — Karlie Rowe scored eight goals as East Lyme High School rallied for a 12-10 nonconference girls' lacrosse victory over Conard on Thursday night.

    Rowe also had an assist for the Vikings (6-2), who held Conard to just one goal in the second half in overcoming a 9-7 halftime deficit.

    Julia Bates added four assists for East Lyme, while Caroline Healy had a goal and two assists, Kristen Healy and Olivia Facchini each had a goal and an assist and Maeve Counter scored a goal.

    Goalie Maya Rose made 16 saves for East Lyme, which was outshot 26-24.

    In other games:

    • Maggie O'Leary had five goals and Zoe Pearse and Jessica Russo each had three for Fitch in a 16-14 loss to Bacon Academy. Sarah Gallan had six goals for Bacon, which led 9-6 at halftime. Fitch is 4-3.

    • Katie Kelly had five goals and an assist and Jess Bryan added three goals in Norwich Free Academy's 14-2 victory over St. Bernard. Catie Shannon and Ria Kilimos scored two goals each for Norwich Free Academy (7-4) and Jillian Brunelli had five saves. Mia Londregan and Bridget Feeley scored for St. Bernard (2-3).

    Boys

    • Jack O'Leary had two goals and two assists as St. Bernard/Wheeler beat NFA 9-6. Pat Brady had two goals and an assist, Roland Long and Scott Pion each scored twice and Danny Schroeder made 20 saves for St. Bernard (6-1). Chris Ladyga scored twice, Ryan Foster had a goal and an assist and Alex Medeiros made 16 saves for NFA (4-6).

    • Joey Andrews had six goals and an assist as Montville defeated Ledyard 13-4. Sam Kury had two goals and an assist for Montville (4-5), Sean Ventresca and Tanner Diamantini added two goals apiece and Caleb Forehand had one goal. Stevie Turchetta made six saves and Kury won 16 of 17 faceoffs. Ryan Kinney scored twice for Ledyard (0-9).

    • Fitch improved to 6-2 with an 11-5 win over Bacon Academy. Noah Reuling had four goals and an assist while Jack Meyer and Riley Jordan each scored two goals and Bray Wilson added one goal and four assists for Fitch. Goalie Christian Snodgrass made 12 saves.
