    Williams School's Delaurentis, Yost named US Lacrosse All-Americans

    JD Delaurentis and Jack Yost, who recently completed their senior seasons at Williams School, were named to the US Lacrosse All-American team.

    Delaurentis, a defender headed for the University of Vermont, had 147 ground balls and 11 goals over three seasons. Yost, a three-year starter in goal, had a 4.05 GPA and is headed to Northwestern. They are the first Williams players to earn the honor. 

    The two were joined by three of their teammates on the New England Prep School Athletic Council All-Region team. Junior midfielder Robbie Darling, junior defender Sterling Frost and junior goalie Colby Potts joined Delaurentis and Yost on the team.

    Darling had 15 goals and 20 assists , Delaurentis had 52 ground balls and nine goals and Frost had 48 ground balls. Potts and Yost split time in goal, each playing half a game. The Blues, coached by Williams Head of School Mark Fader, finished 7-1.
