Questioning indemnity tied to Derby trips

CMEEC should have entered a horse in the Kentucky Derby. Maybe they could have won back the $1.2 million they blew. There has been no effort to recover the funds. Scott Pruitt, our EPA maven, could ride the horse. He is the extreme taker.

When it comes to indemnification, Article IV, Sec. 6 of the CMEEC bylaws states there is no indemnification or attorney fees unless counsel gives a writen opinion as to no misconduct. Inviting friends, relatives, charter planes, free tickets should constitute misconduct. CMEEC should not draft new bylaws themselves. History tells us that they have too much self-interest.

The present bylaws could work if they cared to follow. The CMEEC horse was scratched.

Pruitt had to fly back to the capital in his private plane (paid by us). Sounds familiar.
