Re-elect Somers, an advocate for sensible budgets

State Senator Heather Somers must be re-elected Nov. 6. In her first term as senator, Somers has taken on many tough issues. She has worked tirelessly on addressing the opioid epidemic in our communities. Somers was one who would not back down from concerns of abuse at the Whiting Institute. When her constituents in Griswold were concerned about the gun range for state troopers moving to the pristine forest in our area, Somers was there. She does her research, creates a plan for addressing the issue, and will not let go until it is resolved successfully.

Somers is an advocate for sensible state funding and will work hard so that residents are able to afford to stay in Connecticut. Somers has been seated on many bipartisan committees, taken a strong stance on issues important to constituents and has won community awards for doing both. Vote Heather Somers Nov. 6.
