In New London, say 'yes' to Goulart, a strong leader

On Feb. 26 New London has a special election, a four-way race to replace Chris Soto, who resigned as state representative for the greener pastures of the Lamont Administration.

Anthony Nolan, anointed successor (and a busy New London police officer) will face three candidates, any of whom appear to have more time and better ideas for New London than does Nolan. Of the three, Kat Goulart stands out as the person who can go to Hartford and be a voice for New London.

From Babe Ruth to Economic Development to Police Community Relations, Kat has been there advocating for New London. Let’s take advantage of her energy, sense of purpose and vision and send her to Hartford as the first woman ever to represent New London’s 39th District.

By sending this strong, determined woman to Hartford, we send a message that the status quo of New London begging for crumbs from Hartford is over.

Vote for Kat and say “no” to taxes on food and medicine; “no” to tolls on our roads; and "no" to a new statewide property tax.

Vote for Kat and say “yes” to a strong advocate for New London.

    Nancy Cole
