Drop Lee Elci by May 1 or else we're gone
I’m not cancelling my subscription, but I’m thinking about it. I’ve long appreciated your editorial policy of including both liberal and conservative columnists. I suppose that was the idea in running columns by Lee Elci, a local person and a pretty good writer. But it’s not working.
Heretofore your columnists have been men and women of knowledge, judgment and integrity. Elci has none of these qualities. He is not a conservative but an extremist, celebrating the mess in Washington that has gone from embarrassing to alarming to frightening.
I’ve discussed this with my family, friends and neighbors, and we’re all of the same mind. Drop Elci by May 1 or we’re gone.
