'Contest for the soul of this republic'

House Speaker Nancy Leader Pelosi states that President Trump's words are hateful, inflammatory, create danger and are disrespectful and dangerous. Instead what is dangerous to this republic is that the speaker has lost control to the radical left and two freshmen congresswomen. Pelosi is bent on pandering to them because of their popularity. She has no plan, allowing them to run wild.

The dust bins of history are filled with such as these who have challenged the U.S. way of life.

Make no mistake about it, the 2020 election will be a contest for the soul of this republic. Think about the two most infamous days in recent history for our country, Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941 and the attacks on the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001. Would anybody in their right mind describe either of them as a day where "somebody did something" with a dismissive attitude?
