Our country is at a critical moment in its history and in desperate need to find some common ground to bring it together. Our two-party system and many of our citizens have become so tribal and partisan that we can no longer find compromise.

The White House, for its own political gain, has widened the divisions by distorting the truth, using divisive rhetoric and playing only to its base. Our leadership has lost its moral compass. It ignores human rights violations, befriends brutal and murderous dictators, alienates our allies and disregards our laws and Constitution.

We as a people, no matter which political party is in power, have a responsibility to hold our elected leaders to a higher threshold of truthfulness, decency, and the highest ideals that have made this country great. The time is now to come together for what is right and just, for all our citizens. May God bless every citizen of our great country.
