Historic fight over future use of New London State Pier
I hope that The Day’s Editorial Board and news staff appreciate the significance of what is unfolding at State Pier in New London. We are witnessing a wounded foreign oil company make a land, money, and power grab right in front of our eyes, aided by our state and national so-called leaders.
You all have front-row seats to a major battle over the future of global energy production unfolding in our unsuspecting town. Me, I'm planning to fight.
New London is going to be the Gettysburg of the fight over energy production in the era of climate change.
