Democrats place sanctuary cities above the law

As a constitutionally democratic republic, it is the people, through their duly elected Congress and president that enact and sign bills into law. Nobody is above the law. This includes all laws passed by Congress, popular or not, as we have a constitutional process to amend, repeal, or change laws.

During the height of the illegal immigration crossings at our southern border, the president and federal agencies charged with enforcing the laws of the land were under severe criticism from senior Democrat party leaders, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Rep. Jerry Nadler, and several others. Invariably, they would look into the camera and solemnly and slowly proclaim that nobody is above the law, not even the president. Yet they put themselves above the law by supporting mayors and governors of "sanctuary" cities and states who openly and flagrantly violate our immigration laws, in effect aiding and abetting criminal activity, because they don’t like the law.

Without respect for the rule of law, which America has always stood for, we sink into anarchy.
