I write this letter in support of Mr. Leonard Bunnell who is seeking a seat on the Montville Town Council. I have known Lenny for the past 46 years. I have had the privilege of working side by side with him as a police officer and working for him on some police projects after my retirement. I was called back by Lieutenant Bunnell to re-write and update the department rules and regulations. They were passed on to the Public Safety Commission and then the Montville Town Council, which adopted the policies. 

In all the years that I have known him he has always put the citizens of Montville above all else. The time he has donated on behalf of the town of Montville is without equal. 

Lenny has proven his leadership skills by leading the department into a new era, advocating and promoting the need for the public safety building the department now utilizes. His devotion to the department and the town was evident during this long battle. He never succumbed to the naysayers and achieved success, again proving his passion to strive for the goals of the town.
