I’ve watched Mark Nickerson’s work as East Lyme’s first selectman for the last five years from a close vantage point. He’s proven himself to be a very effective leader for the town because he knows his department heads and what they’re capable of so he can focus on his own responsibilities. He is in constant motion in his work for his constituents and his list of accomplishments is long, including the recently completed reconstruction of our grade schools, the town park, the reopening of the boardwalk, the facilities at Cini Beach and the support for the Miracle League ballfield, only the second in the state. Ongoing projects like the new Costco store will be completed and the refurbished security building for the East Lyme Police Department is progressing.

Mark realizes that no one person can do this alone and that’s why the candidates he’s running with compliment his agenda so well. Team Nickerson is made up of experienced, accomplished individuals who will help the town to continue to move forward. Support Team Nickerson on Nov. 5 for East Lyme’s future.
