Ledyard is progressing, Republicans deserve credit

Ledyard is moving in the right direction under Republican leadership. Through the efforts of Mayor Fred Allyn III, Council Chairperson Linda Davis, the Board of Education's Anthony Favry and other Republican town councilors and Board of Education members, the town was guided through multiple bonding cycles for schools and municipal capital projects. This resulted in the town receiving an excellent Standard and Poor’s bond rating and receiving excellent borrowing rates.

The town has increased commercial and tax generating activities by selling Gales Ferry Landing, Ledyard Center School, and the former police station. These efforts will help reduce town resident taxes.

Through a Republican mayor, and Republican-controlled Town Council and school board, the town is in a better place and moving in the right direction. Keep it moving in the right direction by voting Republican − Row B!
