Improved Westerly Hospital services are appreciated

I am writing to compliment the leadership of Yale New Haven Health, and Lawrence + Memorial Healthcare President and CEO Patrick Green, for the enhancements to the services offered at Westerly Hospital. The gero-psych unit has long been needed in this area, and will serve this location well, as the population continues to age. The new oncology services will make it possible for people to receive chemotherapy locally, while at the same time being able to tap into the significant resources of the Yale cancer program.

Both services have demonstrated the commitment of Yale Health that was promised at the time of the merger discussions.
