Can Mystic Mayor Patrice Granatosky look at fixing our roads?

Now that we will begin planning, once we get into Spring, it would be great if Patrice Granatosky and the Groton Town Council could look at repaving our Mystic roads properly. Those who bike or ride in the different areas of town, including Mason's Island, Groton Long Point and city, can notice a distinct difference in road conditions compared to Mystic, particularly in the downtown and River Road areas. We do realize some of these districts manage this upkeep internally and, based on their results, this may be a better way to go.

Patrice, instead of partially paving a road to cover the mess, please look at doing it correctly, as these other villages have. If you do not have enough funding, please contact state representatives and Groton resident Sen. Heather Somers. There is no reason other roads should look better than our roads.

Please stop ignoring our roads.
